So you want to go to makeup school abroad?

My friend Criz Peñalosa recently flew to Singapore from Dubai, UAE to study as Cosmoprof, a makeup school. Since I’ve observed that a number of young people, mostly college kids, dream of being a makeup artist, I decided to interview Criz about the experience. The article was published last May 21 in 2bU, Inquirer.

A CAREER IN THE FASHION AND beauty industry has become more highly coveted nowadays, with young people becoming more and more sensitive to styling, photography and graphic design.

Students stage their own photo shoots as a hobby and international fashion houses are common lunch break topics. Makeup has become a profession for many and there are a number of reputable schools and training centers offering it
